Amazon Go – Going Forward With New Washington Location

A new Amazon Go location has opened near Puyallup, Washington, even though three Seattle locations have closed over the past few months. The “Just Walk Out” Amazon Go location officially opened September 26th. The new location offers 3,800 square feet of convenience shopping including beverages, grab-and-go foods and made to order foods such as breakfast options, burritos, and sandwiches. In addition to the convenience food options, this new location has a focus on local. Serving local brews and baked goods from the Seattle area.

Besides adding a new Go location, Amazon is starting to reimagine their current Fresh offerings. Remodeling a few of their Fresh locations to present a new layout, with a renewed focus on prepared foods. Continuing to lean in on technology, Amazon is also offering the option of their Dash Carts. These carts are enabled with the technology to provide shoppers with up-to-the-minute deals and an option to check out from the cart. Amazon is also now offering delivery to non-Prime members.
