Fruitful Yield Joins INFRA

In March, the Fruitful Yield chain proudly joined the Independent Natural Food Retailers Association (INFRA). INFRA is a purchasing cooperative owned and governed by natural and organic retailers. With 300 locations from coast to coast, this independent grocers association now welcomes Fruitful Yield into the fold.

The Fruitful Yield chain was established in 1962 by Elwood Richard and has served Chicago’s suburbs ever since. The chain of small to midsized stores now numbers 13 locations. INFRA will offer their myriad of services including collective buying power, operational support, innovative marketing programs, education, and forums.

KeHE Foods serves as both INFRA’s and Fruitful Yield’s primary distributor so the transition in late March was seamless. Fruitful Yield will be tweaking their in-store promos in 2023 by eliminating their two-month flyer in May. They will then begin to offer INFRA inspired promotions.
