Gelson’s has finalized a partnership with Rove, operators of full-service electric vehicle charging centers to provide food and beverage services. ReCharge by Gelson’s will be offering coffee service, hot and cold snack and meal options, poke bowls and sushi, sandwiches and wraps, salads, charcuterie and cheese plates, and a large assortment of single-service and multi-pack cold beverages. A selection of dairy and frozen items will also be offered, along with staples like snack foods, bread, and non-grocery items.
The initial six locations are underway with plans to build 20 more charging centers by 2026. With upwards of 40 charging stations, free Wi-Fi, 24/7 lounge with restrooms and an eco-friendly car wash, they will also offer parking spots for non-chargers who just want to shop.
