H-E-B Announces Plans for Three New North Texas Stores

H-E-B is officially full steam ahead with new stores in the big four counties of Denton, Collin, Dallas, and Tarrant in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. The Texas grocery chain announced last month that it is planning to add three more new stores in North Texas in Melissa, Prosper and Rockwall. The Melissa store is planned for the northeast corner of US 75 and Highway 121, the Prosper store will be at the southeast corner of Frontier Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway, and the Rockwall H-E-B will be on the southwest corner of John King Boulevard and I-30. Construction will begin on the three stores early next year. The company recently opened a new 117,000-square-foot store in Allen, their third location in Collin County. Other H-E-B locations are planned to open in Alliance and Mansfield soon. H-E-B previously announced that it would open the first two Joe V’s Smart Shop discount banners in Dallas. One Joe V’s store on West Westland Road is set to open in summer 2024 and another Joe V’s on South Buckner Boulevard is set to open in spring 2025.
