H-E-B Buys Land in North Texas for Supply Chain Campus

H-E-B has purchased more than 600 acres in Valley View, Texas, for a master-planned supply chain campus aimed at supporting its continued growth across North and West Texas.

Located along Interstate 35, approximately 60 miles north of Fort Worth, the site will be developed in multiple phases to expand the company’s distribution and logistics network. The project remains in the early planning stages, and a construction timeline has not yet been announced. Financial terms of the land purchase were not disclosed.

“Buying this property marks the first step in developing a master-planned campus that will strengthen our ability to serve more Texans,” said Carson Landsgard, Chief Supply Chain Officer for H-E-B. “This project reinforces our commitment to communities across the state and will generate more local job opportunities in the years ahead.”

Separately, H-E-B also recently acquired an additional 122 acres adjacent to its existing distribution campus in Temple to accommodate future expansion. There are no immediate construction plans for that site, and further details are expected as planning progresses. The grocer currently has eight namesake stores and another Joe V’s Smart Shop planned for the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
