H-E-B Connects Customers with Home Management Services through Thumbtack

The home management platform Thumbtack is rolling out branded displays at more than 300 stores across Texas that will connect customers with local pet-service providers including dog walking, grooming, pet sitting and training. Thumbtack is a technology platform that helps users manage their homes by connecting them with local service professionals including painters, plumbers, dog walkers, photographers and more. The partnership with H-E-B is Thumbtack’s first foray into the physical retail environment. Thumbtack On-Demand will also have branded displays at select H-E-B stores, which allows consumers to scan a QR code to find and hire local handyman, lawn care and cleaning services at a 10% discount. The company plans to expand into other retail spaces in the future. Thumbtack helps users keep track of the services they use, keep a record of when that service was performed and which technician they hired.
