H-E-B Frisco Opens to Huge Crowds in North Texas

In the dark hours of the early morning on September 21st, crowds of people lined up outside of the H-E-B store in Frisco, Texas to celebrate the grand opening. The new 118,000-square-foot H-E-B store is located at 4800 Main Street in Frisco, which is located roughly 25 miles north of Dallas. The store will showcase all the quality products and innovative services H-E-B customers have come to love and expect, including a full-service H-E-B Pharmacy with a drive-thru, and a True Texas BBQ restaurant with a drive-thru, Sushiya handmade sushi bar, and Healthy Living department with bulk food items, sports nutrition products and supplements, plus curbside grocery pickup and home delivery. Customers who wanted to get a head start on their shopping were allowed early access to the H-E-B Frisco website to schedule H-E-B Curbside pickup for grand opening day.

H-E-B has meticulously designed its new store in Frisco to harmonize with the distinctive character of the local community while placing a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability. Both inside and outside the store, there’s a clear commitment to eco-friendliness, featuring several energy-efficient elements such as CO2 refrigeration units and LED lighting. The site also boasts extensive native landscaping and outdoor community spaces.

This expansion into Frisco builds upon H-E-B’s well-established presence in the region through its Central Market stores. “We’re extremely excited to strengthen our commitment to the DFW Metroplex and provide the Frisco and Plano communities the best H-E-B has to offer,” said Juan-Carlos Rück, H-E-B Executive Vice President North West Food/Drug. “Our H-E-B locations across North Texas continue to thrive, and this H-E-B store will allow us to answer the long-standing call for an H-E-B in this growing community.” H-E-B has a deep-rooted presence in the Metroplex, having served the broader community for two decades with its innovative Central Market stores, introduced to the DFW area in 2001. H-E-B stores also cater to communities near the Metroplex, including Burleson, Hudson Oaks, Granbury, and Waxahachie. Additionally, H-E-B’s Favor Delivery service is available in 29 cities across the metro area.

Through its Spirit of Giving philosophy, H-E-B commemorated the store’s grand opening with a $10,000 donation to the Frisco ISD Career and Technology Center – Agriculture and Culinary Arts Program. “For more than 117 years, we have served communities across Texas and Mexico, and we are committed to ensuring our store is a meaningful addition to Frisco and the surrounding area,” said top store leader Eli Daniel, a 22-year H-E-B Partner. At the store’s groundbreaking last year, H-E-B donated a total of $50,000 to local nonprofits supporting local families, children, and the arts, continuing the company’s support of more than 150 non-profit organizations and public schools in the DFW Metroplex.
