H-E-B started construction on a third grocery store in Georgetown in the Parmer Ranch area last month. The new 112,00-square-foot grocery store is expected to be completed by summer 2025. Barshop & Oles is developing the shopping center, which will be built on 31 acres at the northeast corner of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and FM 2338 in Georgetown. The development company also built H-E-B’s Bar W location in Leander, 10 miles south of the new Georgetown store.
Like all new H-E-B flagship stores, the Georgetown location will feature an expanded product selection, pharmacy pickup spaces, curbside grocery pickup, home delivery, and a fuel station and car wash. The store will also offer a full-service bakery and tortilleria, a deli with an assortment of cheeses and charcuterie, and a wine and beer department with sampling stations and a variety of local, national and international labels. It will also have a wide selection of organic foods, an expanded Healthy Living department, a floral area with arrangements for customers, and a full-service meat market and seafood counter.
Inspired by H-E-B’s Spirit of Giving, H-E-B is also donating money to local nonprofits to commemorate the announcement. H-E-B donated $20,000 to four local nonprofits with $5,000 each going to Georgetown ISD Education Foundation, Brookwood in Georgetown, the Caring Place, and Boys & Girls Club of Georgetown.
