H-E-B Opens E-Comm Fulfillment Center in Cibolo

H-E-B has expanded its supply chain capacity to support the growth of its curbside and home delivery services, now available at over 270 locations in Texas. Recently, the Texas-based retailer opened a new 55,000-square-foot e-commerce fulfillment center in Cibolo, a city approximately 20 miles northeast of downtown San Antonio. This facility will handle orders for Cibolo, New Braunfels, and nearby areas in the San Antonio region.

This new center is H-E-B’s eighth e-commerce fulfillment facility since 2018. These centers meet the increasing demand for online shopping by stocking store items specifically for curbside and home delivery orders. To enhance efficiency and productivity, the fulfillment facilities employ various technologies that assist associates during the order process, thereby increasing capacity, reducing aisle congestion for in-store shoppers, and improving product availability. H-E-B plans to continue opening additional facilities across Texas to support its ongoing expansion.

In 2024, H-E-B opened its fifth store in the DFW Metroplex, introduced new locations in San Antonio and Houston, and began construction on new stores in Prosper, Dallas, and Melissa. Additionally, H-E-B purchased nearly 500 acres in Hempstead to develop a new distribution campus.
