H-E-B Opens First Dallas County Store in Irving

H-E-B has reached another milestone in its North Texas expansion with the opening of its first H-E-B banner store in Dallas County. The new 100,000-square-foot location in Irving welcomed customers on June 17th and represents another major step in the company’s steady growth across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

The store will serve Irving, Coppell, Grapevine, Las Colinas, West Dallas and surrounding communities while creating approximately 700 new jobs. Although H-E-B has operated Central Market and Joe V’s Smart Shop locations in the region for years, the Irving store marks the first full-size H-E-B under the company’s flagship banner in Dallas County.

Designed around H-E-B’s signature shopping experience, the store features expansive fresh departments, including produce, meat, seafood, bakery and deli, along with a full-service pharmacy complete with drive-thru service. Customers can also enjoy meals from the on-site True Texas BBQ restaurant, one of the retailer’s increasingly popular in-store dining concepts known for serving authentic Texas barbecue prepared fresh daily. Throughout the store, shoppers will find an emphasis on Texas-grown produce and products sourced from local suppliers, reinforcing H-E-B’s longstanding commitment to supporting businesses throughout the state.

The Irving opening is part of a broader investment in North Texas, where additional H-E-B stores are already planned for communities including Forney and Murphy.
