H-E-B continued its rapid expansion across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex with the grand opening of a new 133,000-square-foot store at 2145 W. Frontier Parkway in Prosper. The location joins eight other H-E-B stores and two Joe V’s Smart Shop locations that have opened in North Texas since 2022, reinforcing the retailer’s commitment to serving more communities in the region.
“We’re excited our Prosper store will allow us to serve even more Texans in the DFW area,” said Juan-Carlos Rück, H-E-B’s EVP of Northwest Food/Drug. “We are committed to support this community with an incredible shopping experience, friendly customer service and the best H-E-B has to offer.”
The Prosper store features a wide range of offerings, including a two-story True Texas Barbecue restaurant with drive-thru service, a full-service H-E-B Pharmacy with drive-up spaces, a large curbside pickup area, and a fuel station with carwash. Shoppers can also enjoy H-E-B’s signature departments, such as a bakery offering handmade artisan breads, cakes and warm tortillas made daily, a deli with a large cheese selection and charcuterie island, and a Sushiya with handmade sushi and an Asian grill. The store also offers H-E-B Meal Simple chef-inspired meals, live demonstrations at Cooking Connection, an expansive produce section with Texas-grown and organic selections, and a meat market featuring Prime, natural, organic and Wagyu beef options.
Additional highlights include the Blooms floral department with online ordering and delivery, a large craft beer and wine section with a sampling station, a Healthy Living department with bulk items and nutrition products, an expanded frozen foods selection, a full beauty department, and a dedicated pet department featuring H-E-B’s Heritage Ranch pet food line. Customers can also save more with H-E-B’s branded debit and credit cards, which provide 5% cash back on qualifying store-brand products along with other benefits.
To mark the occasion, H-E-B donated $30,000 to local nonprofits, including $10,000 each to the Tuman Breast Cancer Foundation, Collin County Animal Services and 3FTL, an organization supporting first responders with mental health treatment resources.
