H-E-B to Open New Houston Location in Cypress

H-E-B has opened its newest store in the Houston area, H-E-B Bridgeland, located on Bridgeland Creek Parkway in Cypress. Spanning 128,000 square feet, the store offers a wide array of conveniences and amenities, including expanded specialty and international selections to meet the diverse needs of its customers.

The Bridgeland location is home to the area’s first True Texas BBQ, a highly acclaimed H-E-B restaurant known for its all-natural meats smoked in-house over natural Texas oak wood. Another unique feature at the Bridgeland store is the Bayou Boil House, a walk-up seafood boil stand where customers can enjoy shrimp, crab, seasoned sausage, potatoes, and corn. This new addition highlights H-E-B’s innovative approach to offering fresh and flavorful food experiences.

David Hamilton, the store’s General Manager and a 23-year H-E-B partner, expressed his excitement about the opening. “My team and I are proud members of this community, and we look forward to strengthening our ties here while sharing the Spirit of H-E-B,” he said. The Bridgeland store reflects H-E-B’s dedication to providing unsurpassed freshness and quality, all while maintaining its everyday low prices.

The store offers a host of modern conveniences, including H-E-B Curbside with 48 spaces and home delivery, providing customers with flexible shopping options. It also features an extensive selection of products tailored to various dietary and lifestyle needs, such as the Field & Future line of eco-friendly household items and the Higher Harvest range of plant-based and carb-conscious foods.

Customers can explore a variety of offerings across departments, from pre-made chef-inspired meals to a robust healthy living section with bulk food bins, vitamins, and natural beauty products. The produce section highlights organic and Texas-grown items, while the seafood market ensures fresh selections delivered daily. A fresh meat market, full-service bakery, expansive cheese department, and a wide range of craft beers and wines further enhance the shopping experience. Additional amenities include a full-service pharmacy with a drive-thru and an H-E-B fuel station.

Beyond its offerings within the store, H-E-B extends its impact into the community through its “Spirit of Giving” initiative. To celebrate the grand opening, the company made significant donations to local nonprofits. Bridgeland Community Supports Veterans, Inc., received $5,000 to aid in building and maintaining the Bridgeland Veterans Memorial Park. Children Like Loni, an organization committed to helping underserved children, was gifted 200 turkey meals with sides for the holidays. The Coastal Prairie Conservancy also received $5,000 to support its mission of preserving Texas prairies, wetlands, and wildlife habitats.
