Hannaford was busy in Blue Hill, Maine opening a new store location on May 12th. Located at 15 South Street, the grand opening follows Hannaford’s March acquisition of the store, which formerly operated as Tradewinds Marketplace and was supplied and supported by the Scarborough, Maine-based grocer. The Blue Hill store will operate under the Hannaford banner and offer the grocery retailer’s signature foods, including store-brand offerings such as Taste of Inspirations as well as a variety of products designed to enhance convenience for shoppers including fresh-cut fruit, freshly made grab-and-go sandwiches and salads, an expanded line of bakery items, and ready-to-heat and ready-to-eat entrees. Customers will also enjoy My Hannaford Rewards, a program that allows members to earn a 2% reward on all private brand purchases and receive personalized coupons. The Blue Hill store will mark Hannaford’s 186th store, including 65 in Maine.
