Homeland Stores Adopts Quad Retail Media Network

Oklahoma-based Homeland Stores is introducing an in-store retail media network called In-Store Connect in 15 of its 35 stores. The system was developed by global marketing experience company Quad/Graphics Inc. The In-Store Connect system aims to enhance the shopping experience by utilizing networked digital screens and kiosks to deliver engaging messages and targeted promotions at shelf level.

“Our partnership with Homeland highlights Quad’s dedication to developing impactful solutions that deliver results for our clients,” said Kevin Bridgewater, SVP of Strategic Retail Initiatives at Sussex, Wisconsin-based Quad. “In-Store Connect is a powerful, strategic tool that is creating new marketing and revenue opportunities for mid-market retailers and the brands they carry. We believe Quad is on track to set the industry standard for in-store retail media networks.”

Christin King, Director of Marketing at Oklahoma City-based HAC Inc., parent company of Homeland, commented, “This is a breakthrough for retailers like us, enabling us to compete with major e-commerce players while enhancing our in-store experience and providing our customers with relevant, engaging digital content. Quad’s In-Store Connect is truly innovative and aligns with our commitment to delivering exceptional service and value to our shoppers and partners. We look forward to an ongoing partnership with Quad that drives growth and success for our business.”

In-Store Connect’s digital signage, centrally controlled and locally serviced, can be integrated across grocery chains to offer at-shelf promotional opportunities for national brands seeking nationwide coverage. Quad has recently partnered with Swiftly, a San Francisco-based retail technology and media company, to help In-Store Connect incorporate e-commerce into brick-and-mortar environments.
