Coming to Carmel soon! North Carolina-based retailer, The Fresh Market is opening its second location in Carmel, Indiana and fifth overall location in Indiana. The new store, located at 1392 S Rangeline Road, was previously a former Earth Fare location, shuttering its doors in January 2020. When it comes to product offerings and service, The Fresh Market separates itself from the competition with an assortment of hard-to-find specialty fresh foods and ingredients sourced locally and from around the world. The new location will feature restaurant-quality, prime and premium choice beef offerings, certified butchers to customize cuts, produce grown for optimal flavor, the highest-grade specialty coffee in the world, roasted to perfection in the store throughout the day, and a bakery offering a range of breads, muffins, scones, and sweet treats. For shoppers looking to make a quick meal, fully prepped produce and entrees, ready-to-cook meals like the seafood steamer bags and market meal kits, or the weekly “little big meal” will be readily available as well.
A grand opening celebration is planned for Wednesday, May 24th. The new store announcement comes during the launch of The Fresh Market’s first-of-its kind retail media network that allows vendors to incorporate shoppable and customized ads during the retailer’s livestreamed online broadcasts. Partnering with video commerce tech company, Firework, the tech company said in a press release that its first four livestreams attracted more than 2 million views, and conversion rates from the videos were 300% greater than traditional advertising. Founded in 1982, the premium specialty grocer currently operates 160 stores across 22 states with the new store opening in Carmel, Indiana marking the retailers 161st location.
