INFRA announced that construction is underway for their new headquarters office in St. Paul. Planning of the new location has been underway since late 2022. With sustainability and community at the top of the new building’s priority list, INFRA engaged Christian Dean Architecture to transform an old warehouse in west St. Paul into a bright new home for the INFRA team. Intent Built, Inc. is the general contractor with the grand opening slated for January 2024.
“We are excited about the possibilities this new headquarters brings,” said Pat Sheridan, INFRA President and CEO. “Our facility is designed not only to robustly serve our members today, but also to adapt and thrive in the decades to come. Central to our vision is a commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability, which will be deeply ingrained in our new home. Furthermore, this move signifies our dedication to foster enduring connections and make a positive impact in our local community in St. Paul’s vibrant West Side. INFRA is poised for growth, and this investment reaffirms our pledge to empower our members with exceptional service and innovation.”
“Our goals for designing the new home for INFRA within a ‘West Side’ St. Paul industrial warehouse are to provide a sustainable daylight filled work environment, with planned flexibility to offer a range of work settings,” shared Christian Dean, AIA of Christian Dean Architecture, LLC. “Priority is given to specifying sustainably manufactured interior finishes while the addition of daylighting ‘solar tubes’ and skylights bring abundant daylight into the space and reduce the demand for artificial lighting. Overall, a once mute and introverted warehouse is transformed into a welcoming and open home to INFRA.”
