KeHE ReposiTrak Traceability Compliance Initiative

KeHE is partnering with ReposiTrak to further our commitment to food safety, regulatory compliance, and transparency within their supply chain. The Food Traceability Act, a key component of the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), requires comprehensive record-keeping to trace the movement of food products through the supply chain, enhancing our ability to quickly respond to foodborne illness outbreaks. 

The ReposiTrak Traceability Network connects thousands of suppliers, retailers, and wholesalers to share traceability information and meet the requirements of both the FDA’s FSMA 204 food traceability law and of retailers and wholesalers throughout the industry.  

• Some retailers, including Kroger, require traceability for all food products, regardless of their inclusion on the Food Traceability List (FTL). All indicators suggest more wholesalers and retailers will be moving in that same direction.  
• ReposiTrak has begun reaching out to KeHE suppliers with products in specific categories and to Kroger suppliers.
