KeHE Summer Show

The KeHE Summer Show took place in Salt Lake City, Utah, February 7th to 8th, 2024 and virtually on KeHE CONNECT platform from February 1st to 15th, 2024.

New this year, the show’s Innovation Pavilion will feature New@KeHE and KeHE ELEVATE suppliers, which are the brands expected to lead upcoming food industry trends. KeHE will also reveal its new KeHE Fresh Marketplace brand, share merchandising ideas, and revenue-driving fresh food demonstrations for this priority market segment.  In addition, there was a Massage area attendees could get off their feet and enjoy a little relaxation.

The Show Trends were:

  • Authentic Eats. Ethical Treats
  • Fuel Summer Adventures
  • Mix it Right:  Sustainability and Functionality
  • The Art of Influence
  • The Art of Nutrient-Packed Cookouts

In line with KeHE’s core purpose, We SERVE to make lives better, the show offered philanthropic opportunities for attendees to volunteer.  Teaming up with Hanson Faso, attendees helped pack 500 Survivor Support bags for Dahlia’s Hope, an organization that provides holistic aftercare services to survivors of sex trafficking who are ready to create a new life.  Show attendees were asked to choose one of three carefully selected beneficiaries to receive support to further their missions: Salt & LightEight Days of Hope, and Restoring Hope Nepal. The KeHE Cares Foundation provided attendees with a wooden token valued at $10 to choose which organization they’d like to donate to through KeHE Cares.

PRESENCE sponsored the kick-off presentation, providing gift bags that included products from C20, Catalina Crunch, Olly, Onnit, Smartypants, Welly, Pipcorn, Skinny Pop, Steaz.  Attendees heard from Deb Conklin, KeHE’s CEO and President, on KeHE’s Food. Forward. Focus and partner success strategy for 2024. Conklin reflected on KeHE’s end-to-end approach, which highlighted the emphasis to listening to partners and current food buying trends. Her food forward strategy encompasses operational success, growth, continued partner success, and efficient business.

Conklin’s update on operational success was highlighted through the supplier experience and the use of technology to provide more information to its partners (which KeHE has been successful in throughout the last five to ten years). Conklin also shared the benefits of KeHE’s growth from the new Miami distribution center opening and acquisition of the DPI enterprise. Continued partner success for KeHE includes the ease, cost, and speed of doing business with KeHE. View recording here

To close off the show, the Party with a Purpose was held in the Grand Building at Utah State Fairpark where guests enjoyed locally sourced bites, igloos, fire pits, warm drinks, and s’mores while listening to relaxing blue grass music.
