KeHE to Open New Miami Distribution Center – DC 31

KeHE will be moving its current Fort Lauderdale DC 31 operations to a new Miami distribution center (DC) in Hialeah, Florida less than 20 miles away. The new DC will initially service customers that are already being serviced out of Fort Lauderdale DC 31 today. Please note that the DC number will remain the same, DC 31. To support Sprouts expansion into the Southeast region, KeHE will be adding Sprouts distribution to the new Miami DC in early 2024.

In preparation for this warehouse opening, KeHE’s supplier partners that are impacted will be notified via a separate email notification that will include the SKUs that will be transitioning into the new Miami DC.

Key Purchase Order Changes and Timeline

• POs for delivery/pick-up into the new KeHE Miami DC will begin being placed from the KeHE purchasing systems beginning Fall 2023.
• Any POs placed for the new KeHE Miami DC will display order quantities in both Eaches, and Cases.
• Be sure no deliveries arrive at the new DC until November 7^th, 2023 or after – including small parcel shipments.

KeHE Policies and Procedures

All purchase orders placed for the new Miami distribution center will be subject to KeHE’s Policies and Procedures programs, terms and fee structures as previously agreed upon and signed by both KeHE and Supplier Authorized Representatives.
