King Soopers Shoppers Gain New Convenience as Kroger Grows Uber Partnership

King Soopers shoppers will soon have more ways to order groceries, access loyalty perks and even bundle dinner with their weekly food run, as Kroger expands its partnership with Uber Technologies Inc. The enhanced collaboration brings new digital conveniences to customers across Kroger’s family of banners — including Colorado-based King Soopers — with several features rolling out over the next year.

One of the biggest changes will come in early 2026, when the full Kroger assortment becomes available directly through the Uber Eats app. King Soopers, along with Ralphs, Fred Meyer, Smith’s, Fry’s, Harris Teeter and Mariano’s, will be part of the more than 2,600 participating stores. The expansion will give King Soopers customers another channel to shop their preferred local store while also accessing Uber’s delivery network.

King Soopers shoppers who subscribe to Kroger Boost will also gain new benefits through Uber One. Boost members will be eligible for an extended Uber One trial that includes 6% cash back on rides, $0 delivery fees, automatic surge savings and up to 10% off Uber Eats orders. In return, Uber One members can try a longer free trial of Kroger Boost, unlocking perks such as 2X fuel points and free grocery delivery through King Soopers’ app or website.

Another major addition is coming to the Kroger/King Soopers app: “Powered by Uber Eats” restaurant ordering, which integrates Uber’s restaurant marketplace directly into the retailer’s digital experience. King Soopers customers will be able to shop groceries and place restaurant delivery orders in the same app — with $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees for Boost members. Kroger will be the first retailer to combine fresh groceries, private-label products and local restaurant delivery all within its own platform.

“This integration lets customers easily move between grocery shopping and restaurant delivery,” Uber’s global head of delivery Susan Anderson said, noting built-in tracking and loyalty rewards. “Kroger is the first retailer in the world to bring Uber Eats directly into its digital shopping experience — and to connect our two membership ecosystems.”

Kroger also plans to collaborate with Uber on new retail media experiences — an opportunity that could drive more relevant product inspiration and promotional engagement for King Soopers customers.

Yael Cosset, Kroger’s EVP and chief digital officer, said the partnership builds on the company’s commitment to flexible, customer-led options. “Our customers want to choose how they shop, when they shop and how they access their groceries,” Cosset said. “Today’s announcement combines the best of Kroger’s fresh food and exclusive Our Brands with Uber’s expertise… giving customers more choice and value while introducing new customers who have different shopping needs to Kroger.”

The expanded agreement follows earlier collaborations, including Uber-enabled delivery of floral and sushi at King Soopers locations.

Kroger, the parent company of King Soopers, employs more than 400,000 associates and serves over 11 million customers daily through its digital ecosystem and store network. The company ranks No. 4 on The PG 100, Progressive Grocer’s 2025 list of the top North American food and consumables retailers.
