Kroger Celebrates Grand Reopening of Lake Highlands Store

The Kroger Dallas Division marked the grand reopening of its Lake Highlands location on July 23rd at 10677 E. Northwest Highway in Dallas. The celebration began with a warm welcome from John Votava, Director of Corporate Affairs, followed by remarks from Kroger Texas President Rudy DiPietro and Store Leader Josh Owens.

As part of the event, Kroger presented a donation to Kaylan VanPelt of the White Rock Center for Hope, supporting the company’s Zero Hunger | Zero Waste commitment to ending hunger and eliminating waste in the communities it serves.

The celebration continued with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Owens, alongside store leadership and associates. Early shoppers were treated to product samples and giveaways to make the perfect breakfast, with the first 200 guests receiving complimentary items.

The reopening also launched a week of exclusive savings from July 23rd to 29th, including 20 cents off per gallon at the store’s fuel center for Kroger Rewards Card members during the weekend of July 25th to 27th.

The store’s renovations include updated décor, refreshed service departments, and expanded selections in bakery, deli, produce, floral, and meat/seafood. Shoppers will also notice a reorganized grocery aisle and new local, natural, and healthy product offerings. Kroger is also celebrating lower prices on more than 1,000 items across all DFW stores as part of its ongoing commitment to value and quality.
