The Kroger Company continues to bring innovation and has unveiled another initiative towards the “store of the future”. In November, Kroger held a ribbon cutting ceremony in Monroe, Ohio and rolled out the KroGo shopping carts which features a built in scale and camera for shoppers to quickly shop and check out from their cart. This tech savvy shopping cart was created in partnership with tech firm Caper. The goal is a quick and seamless shopping experience which allows shoppers an opportunity to complete their checkout transaction quickly.
