Lazy Acres is an organic grocer that opened in 1991. They are presently undergoing some major changes internally and externally within the natural grocery realm. Expanding their footprint with the upcoming banner merger, timing yet to be determined, with the New Seasons and New Leaf Markets in the Northern California and Pacific Northwest.
Additionally, they are opening another Southern California location in Los Feliz, their sixth location in Los Angeles at the site of a closed Rite-Aid building. This opening was delayed from 2021 and is expected to be finished sometime Q1 of 2023. Renovations included adding 8,500 square feet, increasing the footprint by 30%.
Lastly, Lazy is remodeling and expanding existing locations in Long Beach and Encinitas, enlarging their frozen and cooler sections to offer more variety to their shoppers.
