Lowes Foods Expanding Footprint in North Carolina

North Carolina-based supermarket chain, Lowe’s Foods, is opening a new store in Pittsboro, North Carolina – which opened on Thursday, June 29th. Located at the intersection of Highway 15-501 and Northwood High School Road on Ramseur Road, the new location will feature Lowes Foods Originals including The Beer Dean which offers a selection of varied and local crafts and drafts that shoppers can sip while they shop or fill a growler to take home, Boxcar Coffee where guests can sip on a cup of coffee while they shop, Cheese Shop offering all things cheese from traditional to rare finds, The Community Table where shoppers can gather and be inspired to try something new, as well as SausageWorks that offers locally made pork, beef and poultry sausages in an unbelievable number of flavors. The new location is part of the grocer’s five store growth plan announced in Q1 2023, with new stores still to come in Concord, North Carolina, Kannapolis, North Carolina, Aiken, South Carolina, and Indian Land, South Carolina.
