Luke’s Local, which currently has two locations in San Francisco on Cole Street and Union Street will be opening a third location in North Beach on Green Street.
Luke’s Local stores are well-known for same-day delivery service and fresh produce. They also offer natural and organic foods, prepared foods, grab n’ go, butcher, dairy, specialty cheese, beer/wine/spirits, and frozen foods.
They believe the future of urban grocery shopping is a combination of both the in-person experience combined with the flexibility of delivery within a few hours.
The North Beach location will sell flowers and produce and will also have an outdoor seating area where customers can sit and enjoy sandwiches and snacks from the deli. The new location should be opening in a couple of months.
