Market of Choice Celebrates 45th Anniversary with Product Experience Show

Market of Choice Oregon’s largest independent grocer celebrated its 45th anniversary by hosting a community Product Experience Show in Eugene, Oregon on September 26th. The event featured over 250 booths with 125 of those dedicated to Oregon vendors. Tickets for admission to the event were free with a donation of canned food to support Food for Lane County and other partnering food banks.

Participants of the show had the opportunity to sample products, view upcoming innovations, and meet producers of the items sampled. Market of Choice is dedicated to sourcing locally made products for its customers, keeping local dollars in the community, and strengthening the economic vitality of the region.

“Market of Choice wouldn’t be where we are today without the incredible support of our customers and the many local producers who bring Oregon’s bounty to our doorsteps,” noted Market of Choice owner and CEO Rick Wright. “The Product Experience Show is a joyful celebration of community — a chance for us all to come together, share our passion for quality food, connect with makers and discover new innovations.”

Founded in 1979, Market of Choice currently operates 11 stores located throughout the state of Oregon with a 12th scheduled to open in Hillsborough early 2025. The Oregon based chain employs nearly 1,400 associates with locations in Ashland, Bend, Corvallis, Eugene, Medford and the Portland metro area. Market of Choice is committed to providing healthy food options while partnering with local producers.
