Met Market Opens 10th Location in Seattle’s Crown Hill Neighborhood
After more than two years in the making, the Metropolitan Markets Crown Hill location is finally open, making it their tenth store. The 32,810-square-foot space previously housed a Value Village.
Metropolitan Market’s CEO spoke on the opening of the new store, “Food is about bringing people together, facilitating meaningful relationships, and feeding long-lasting memories. We are absolutely thrilled to be joining the Crown Hill community and we look forward to meeting our new neighbors soon.”
The new store will feature everything from grocery essentials to carefully curated international and local specialty items, along with fresh-baked and delicious made-to-order items, all in one convenient shopping experience. Produce of the highest quality, including locally grown fruits and vegetables and the widest assortment of seasonal favorites, is the standard.
Metropolitan Market is well known for the quality of their wine and beer departments and plans to offer more than 1,200 varieties including offerings made exclusively for Metropolitan Market. They also offer full serve floral and meal departments, extensive kitchen wares, and a wellness department stocked with over 5,000 health and personal care items.
Metropolitan Market is under the Good Food Holdings umbrella, which also owns Portland-based New Seasons and the Bristol Farms and Lazy Acres Natural Market in Southern California; however, Metropolitan Market remains locally operated in the Seattle area.
With over 50 years serving the greater Seattle area, Metropolitan Market continues to shine in both the quality of the products and services they offer and their retail execution. They continue to grow with the region they serve, picking up several accolades as best regional grocer from outlets such as SeattleMet, Seattle Magazine, Food & Wine, and Evening Magazine Best of Western Washington.
