Whole Foods Market opened a striking new 53,400 square foot store at 2910 Biscayne Boulevard on June 26th, 2025, marking a major expansion into Miami’s Midtown district. This vibrant location will operate daily from 7:30 A.M. to 10:00 P.M., offering residents a fresh, modern grocery experience. The store’s design draws inspiration from Miami’s lively Arts & Entertainment District, showcasing colorful décor, tropical motifs and bird-inspired flourishes throughout the interior, an aesthetic that celebrates the neighborhood’s energetic character. Whole Foods Market has sourced over 500 local products from more than 130 Florida suppliers, supporting regional businesses.
This location leans heavily into high touch grocery services. A full-service coffee bar will feature Cuban style drinks such as Cubano, Cortadito and café con leche, infusing a strong local flavor into morning routines. Additional features include a sustainable seafood counter, a butcher staffed meat counter with dry aged cuts and made in house sausage, a specialty cheese counter, and a rich selection of over 240 craft beers and 700 wines. Prepared food lovers will delight in offerings like fresh pizza, sushi, and made to order sandwiches, while a bakery section will showcase delectables from local favorites including Zak the Baker, Bunnie Cakes and Gelato Fino. Whole Foods’ beauty and wellness department will stock regional brands like Acure and Garden of Life, emphasizing organic and health focused care lines.
Opening day offered extra perks: the first 300 guests received custom tote bags and Secret Saver coupons worth up to $100, complemented by free Wells Coffee and Zak the Baker breakfast treats. Later, gelato pops were handed out to afternoon shoppers. As part of its Nourishing Our Neighborhoods initiative, Whole Foods Market will donate surplus food to local nonprofits including The Caring Place, Urban Oasis Project and Lotus House. This new Midtown Miami location comes on the heels of other recent South Florida openings, including stores in Boca Raton, and arrives as grocers like Publix, Target and ALDI ramp up their footprints in the region.
As Amazon-backed Whole Foods Market continues its expansion, reaching more than 535 stores in the U.S., Canada and the UK, Midtown Miami’s bold new branch brings local flair, sustainability, and convenience to the city’s heartland.
