Natural Grocers, the leading family-operated natural and organic grocery retailer in the U.S., has announced an exclusive partnership with specialty egg brand Contented Hen to provide significant savings to members of its {N}power loyalty program. Starting immediately and running through June 5th, {N}power members can enjoy up to 42% off four premium varieties of Contented Hen eggs, including free-range, organic free-range, pasture-raised, and organic pasture-raised options. Prices start at just $2.29 per dozen — offering some of the most competitive prices in the market.
According to Natural Grocers’ May press release, the promotion includes markdowns of $1.70 on Grade A large brown free-range, organic free-range, and organic pasture-raised eggs, and $1.80 on pasture-raised eggs. With egg prices remaining a key indicator of grocery inflation, affordability and access to high-quality staples remain top priorities for shoppers. This initiative reflects Natural Grocers’ commitment to offering exceptional value to its loyal customers while supporting ethically sourced food options.
Kemper Isely, Co-President of Natural Grocers, told investors the {N}power program continues to be a strong driver of customer engagement. Offering discounts on goods like eggs and avocados is a “big draw for our members,” Isely said.
Natural Grocers’ {N}power loyalty program continues to show robust growth, with net sales penetration rising to 81% in the second quarter of the fiscal year — up from 78% in the same period last year, as reported during the company’s latest earnings call. The grocer also sends out offers customized to individual members. These offers are “tailored toward their shopping habits” as well as allows them to earn points in-store that “essentially works out to a 1% rebate,” Isely said.
