Natural Grocers Opens 45th Colorado Store

Last month, The Loveland, Colorado, Natural Grocers opening  brought the number of stores in its home state to 45 for the natural foods retailer. The Colorado launch came on the heels of another new store opening in Washington and remodel re-opening in Oklahoma. The Loveland store is centrally located in an area of the city that has experienced a revitalization in recent years.

Shoppers can explore the new Colorado store located at 745 N. Lincoln Avenue, just in time to gather supplies for Thanksgiving and the holiday season. Much like other Natural Grocers markets, the Loveland store offers a diverse selection of nutritious and fresh foods, beverages, everyday essentials, and other offerings spanning health and beauty categories. The store’s design underscores the company’s dedication to sustainability, incorporating energy-efficient elements such as non-toxic building materials and 100% LED lighting.

Natural Grocers reported that the Loveland store is the result of nearly a decade of planning. “We look forward to bringing nutritious food to Loveland and its surrounding communities at prices they can afford – one of the main principles Natural Grocers was founded on in 1955 and that we continue to uphold today,” said Raquel Isely, VP of Marketing for Natural Grocers. “The Loveland area offers that perfect Colorado mix of front range and rural living. Folks here are interested in where their food comes from and are familiar with the process.”

The grand opening event included the presentation of a check to the Food Bank for Larimer County and a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the store manager and other community leaders. The store opening is also supported by some reduced pricing deals that last through the holiday season. Through December 31st, members of the NGVC rewards program can get exclusive cost-savings on items like grass-fed ground beef, organic avocadoes, store-brand organic coffees and more.

It’s been a bustling end of the year for Natural Grocers, which opened another new store in Kennewick, Washingtom, on October  25th and unveiled a remodeled location in Norman, Oklahoma on November 2nd. Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage boasts more than 165 stores in 21 states. The Lakewood, Colorado-based grocery retailer was named by Progressive Grocer among its 10 Most Sustainable Grocers.
