Natural Grocers Relocates Oklahoma City Store

Natural Grocers moved their Oklahoma City – North May store to a newly remodeled space on May 2nd, 2024. The original store at 7013 North May Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, closed on April 29th in preparation for the relocation. The new location at 5903 Northwest Expressway, Warr Acres, opened on May 2nd. The Natural Grocers’ good4u Crew kick-started the relocation festivities at 8:15 A.M. with a $2,500 donation presentation to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, their local food bank partner. Following that, an official ribbon-cutting ceremony took place with the store manager, the store’s nutritional health coach, and other community leaders. Doors officially opened at 8:27 A.M., accompanied by giveaways, sweepstakes, sales, and free samples. Customers also enjoyed a 25% discount throughout the entire store from May 2nd to May 4th

“The interior of the new store will be brighter, with a more open floor plan and will include energy-efficient upgrades,” said Raquel Isley, Vice President of Marketing. “Customers familiar with our Oklahoma City – North May store know our passion for supporting the health of humans and the health of our planet. We’re looking forward to sharing that passion with new friends at a fresh location, just a few miles away.

“We’re also excited to grow our good4u Crew to support in-store operations at our new location. Since my grandparents founded Natural Grocers in 1955, we have embraced a history of caring for our Crew. We invite members of the community who are looking for a rewarding work environment and have a passion for helping people, to apply today.”

This relocation is a part of Natural Grocers’ initiative to open four to six new stores, and undergo four to six relocations/remodels in 2024.
