Natural Grocers to Close Two Stores, Boost Overall Productivity
Natural Grocers announced last month, plans to close two stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth area as part of the retailer’s efforts to increase efficiencies across all stores. Both locations closed on June 27th.
There are no current plans to close any other stores, Natural Grocers said. The announcement comes at a time when Natural Grocers is working strengthen its family of stores, including the recent introduction of personalized shopping options with nutritional health coaches at some locations. Customers can take advantage of store-closing sales, which kicked off last month, and include discounts of 25% off every item. Employees of the closing stores — 120 S. Denton Tap Road., Suite 300 and 5230 North Tarrant Parkway — will have the ability to transfer to other stores. Those who choose not to transfer will receive a transition package, which includes severance and benefits, the retailer said.
