Sprouts Farmers Market has expanded its footprint in Colorado with the opening of a new store in Aurora. Located at 405 S. Chambers Road, near the intersection of South Chambers Road and East Alameda Parkway, the store officially opened its doors on April 18th. This marks the 33rd Sprouts location in the state. Headquartered in Phoenix, the grocery chain is known for its focus on natural and organic foods and now operates over 440 stores across 24 states.
“I am pleased to see Sprouts Farmers Market grow its footprint here in the city of Aurora and expand options for our residents who want access to fresh and healthy foods,” said Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman. “I am especially excited that Sprouts is opening this location so close to our municipal center and walking distance from a R Line light rail station. This store will play an important part of bringing more energy, activity and jobs to this central, redeveloping portion of Aurora.”
The company said they plan to hire 93 employees for the new Aurora location.
