Market Basket is opening a new store located at 80 Barnes Road in North Conway, New Hampshire. Set to be the grocers 89th store location, the 70,000 square store is expected to open in September 2023 following delays due to supply chain issues. Originally expected to open in late Spring or early Summer 2023, builders are awaiting the arrival of a switch gear to coordinate the store’s electrical refrigeration systems. It is the last of several supply chain issues that have pushed back the completion date of the Settlers Streetside location.
With roots dating back as far as 1917, Market Basket was recently named one of the top grocery stores in the Greater Boston area, according to a new ranking from Consumers’ Checkbook, by continuing to hold true to its “More For Your Dollar” phrase as not only a standard and motto but a tradition that has become part of the grocers culture.
