The newest Colorado location for Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage opened in Brighton on September 23rd and became the 164th storefront for the Lakewood-based grocer. As part of a company mindful of its impact on the natural environment, the Brighton store was designed with sustainability and environmental protection in mind. The store features an energy-saving CO2 refrigeration system, 100% LED lighting and non-toxic construction materials. Keeping in line with the grocer’s tradition of sourcing standards, this Natural Grocers store will offer a vast range of 100% organic certified produce, humanely raised and sustainably sourced meats, prepackaged non-GMO bulk food, pasture-based dairy, free-range eggs, dietary supplements, household and body care items.
The grand opening celebration started with a Natural Grocers good4u Crew official ribbon-cutting, a prize wheel, grand opening sweepstakes, and a multitude of discounts inside the store. To further reach out to the community of Brighton, Natural Grocers donated $2,500 to the Food Bank of the Rockies, carrying on their decade-long partnership.
