New Seasons Market Launches Grant Program to Support Local Farmers and Ranchers

New Seasons Market, a Portland-based grocery chain known for its commitment to local, organic, and sustainable food, has teamed up with Zero Foodprint to launch the Restore Northwest Grant Program. This initiative offers financial support to local farmers and ranchers focused on sustainability, providing grants of up to $25,000 for projects that improve water use, reduce carbon emissions, boost biodiversity, and enhance soil health. Funded by New Seasons Market’s Partner Fund, the program reflects the company’s dedication to making a positive environmental impact.

The program was kickstarted by New Seasons Market and over 25 vendor partners, who raised nearly $60,000 during Earth Month through the “Building Better Soil for a Healthier Future” campaign. New Seasons Market continues to lead the way in supporting local producers and promoting a sustainable food system across the region.
