New United Supermarket Store Planned for in Seminole

The United Family has announced plans to build a new 49,000-square-foot United Supermarkets store along with a United Express convenience store and fuel station at the corner of Hobbs Highway and 21st Street in Seminole, Texas. Construction is expected to begin in late spring 2026.

This new development will replace the current United Supermarkets location in Seminole, bringing customers an updated shopping experience with enhanced services and amenities. Details about the groundbreaking will be shared at a later date.

Sidney Hopper, President of The United Family, expressed enthusiasm about continuing to serve the Seminole community with an upgraded store. He emphasized the company’s long-standing commitment to the area and the opportunities this new location presents to elevate service.

The new store will include a full-service pharmacy with drive-thru, grocery pick-up and delivery, a fresh in-store bakery, full-service floral with delivery, an expansive beer and wine selection, and a full-service meat market. Guests can also look forward to an expanded deli with hot foods and ReadyMeals, a comfortable dining area, and a wider assortment of offerings in every department.
