NGVC Names New CFO

Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage, Inc. has announced Richard Hallé as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 1^st, 2025. Hallé will succeed Todd Dissinger, who is retiring on December 31^st, 2024, as previously disclosed. Hallé has been a member of Natural Grocers’ board of directors and audit committee since 2012, bringing a wealth of experience to his new role. His extensive background includes serving as: 

• Managing Director of Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement Group (March 2023–October 2024). 
• CFO of Vivial Inc. (2011–2021), overseeing key financial functions, including accounting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting. 
• CFO and Secretary of DTN Holding Company, Inc. (2003–2008). 
• Managing Director at FTI Consulting, Inc. (2002–2003), focusing on business and financial strategies. 

In his new role, Hallé will lead Natural Grocers’ financial operations, including accounting, treasury, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, internal audit, tax, payroll, and benefits. He will also oversee the project management office and accounts payable functions. 

To ensure a smooth transition, Hallé will begin interim employment with the company in November 2024. He has stepped down from his positions on the board of directors, audit committee, and compensation committee to fully assume his new responsibilities.
