Exciting developments are underway in the Rocklin and Granite Bay communities – two brand-new Nugget Markets are scheduled to open their doors later this year! Known for its upscale, welcoming atmosphere, Nugget Markets offers a curated selection of local products, specialty items, and everyday essentials, all wrapped in a premium shopping experience.
In Rocklin, the upcoming location in Whitney Ranch will span 44,000 square feet. At the groundbreaking event, Rocklin Vice Mayor Jill Gayaldo described the store as a future “gathering place” for the community. This location is expected to open in late fall 2025.
Meanwhile, Granite Bay will welcome its own Nugget Market at the intersection of Douglas and Sierra College boulevards, taking over the former Walmart Neighborhood Market site. This will mark Nugget’s 18th store overall and its fourth in Placer County, with an opening planned for late summer 2025.
