Health-first natural grocer, Nutrition Smart, opened a new store in Coral Springs, Florida. The new store, located at 5651 Coral Ridge Drive in the Shoppes at Heron Lakes, offers high-quality organic food and vitamins, personalized service, and competitive prices. The new location will also feature a full Kosher department – a selection like nothing else in the area.
Founded in Pembroke Pines, Florida in 1996, Nutrition Smart has steadily grown to four locations across South Florida, including Pembroke Pines, Port St. Lucie, Wesley Chapel and newest addition, Coral Springs. Its mission is simple, provide the community with fresh, healthy food while creating an enjoyable place to shop and offering free in-store nutrition seminars and cooking classes. The 10,000 square-foot location was previously a Tunie’s – the popular organic and natural food supplement market moved to e-commerce business only and subsequently invited Nutrition Smart to consider taking over the brick-and-mortar location in Coral Springs.
Company founder Yehuda Saban was born and raised in Venezuela. Becoming interested in health, supplements, and fitness, Saban struggled to find a grocery store that focused on organic and nutritional options. After moving to the United States in the ‘90s, he turned his dream into a reality and founded Nutrition Smart.
