Joe Leitz passed away peacefully on January 29th at the age of 72. Joe is survived by his wife, Laura; his children, Chelsea and Brian; and his beloved grandchildren, who knew him best as “Poppop.” Born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Joe met Laura while working on a scuba diving boat—an early hint that adventure would always be part of his story. They later made Florida home, where they raised their family and built a life full of laughter, love, and strong relationships.
A natural leader with a sharp wit, Joe spent his career in beverage sales, where he became a mentor and trusted voice to many. We knew Joe from his years at After the Fall, Mountain Sun and his longest tenure at Lakewood Organic and Premium Juice.
His advice was honest, his humor unforgettable, and his impact lasting. Whether on the water boating, sharing stories, or cheering on his family, Joe brought warmth and joy wherever he went.
He will be deeply missed, but the lessons he taught, the laughs he shared, and the love he gave will continue to ripple outward.
