Rosauers has a new Director of Natural Living, for their Huckleberry’s stores, after a three month vacancy. Rosauers Supermarkets, a locally owned chain based in Spokane Washington, with 24 locations throughout Eastern Washington, North Idaho, Montana, Hood River Oregon, and Ridgefield Washington. Eighteen of those stores have a store within a store Huckleberry’s department, or integration of natural and specialty items.
Joel Dahll comes to Huckleberry’s with 35 years of grocery experience. His career started at QFC in the Seattle Market where he spent 10 years in the natural/specialty department developing their program. He then relocated to Portland Oregon and joined the New Seasons team where he spent 19 years as Director of Center Store, growing this highly successful chain to 20stores. 2018 brought a new opportunity for Joel, president of a new retailer, Basics Market also in the Portland Market. He spent six years there focused on merchandising, operations, and marketing.
Joel is the third director for Huckleberry’s since it opened in 1996, 29 years ago. He has jumped right in making plans to reset all Huckleberry’s locations this year, develop schematics, and build up their promotional program along with display opportunities. He has met with his broker community, and we are off and running. Looking forward to a fresh set of eyes, his depth of experience and success to grow Huckleberry’s for our brand partners.
