Seattle’s Vegfest Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary

Seattle, Washington will be holding its annual Vegfest on May 13th and 14th 2023, at the Washington State Events Center Pavilion. This will be their 20th festival which is now “the largest vegetarian food festival in the country”.

The venue has grown each year offering its largest venue to date with unlimited free parking for all participants. This event is open to all and is attended by both vegetarians and non-vegetarians with an estimated 14,000 attendees.  Admission is $25 for adult’s while kids under 12 years are free.

This festival offers several booths with over 500 different sampling offerings. There are chef demonstrations and educational seminars on health and nutrition provided by medical doctors. Vegetarians of Washington are offering a free deluxe tote bag filled with free food, special coupons, cookbook, and magazines with enrollment at the event. A special kids’ section is available to teach healthy eating habits in a fun and friendly manner.

Each year, Vegfest offers an evening medical seminar to physicians and medical students, focused on prevention and treatment of disease through plant-based diet. The two-hour seminar is hosted by regional physicians sharing the latest research and clinical experiences in a selection of specialties.
