Sprouts Farmers Market is expanding its East Coast footprint with two new stores that opened this August, one in Charlotte’s NoDa neighborhood and another in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Charlotte location, at 110 E. 36th Street near Tryon Street, opened on August 22nd. The grand opening weekend included pop-up tastings, a “guess the weight” produce contest, a Vendor Village with innovative products, and special giveaways. This store is part of the One NoDa Park mixed-use development, which includes 383 apartments and retail space, improving grocery access in a neighborhood previously identified as underserved.
In Knoxville, Tennessee, the new Sprouts store at 9622 Kingston Pike opened on August 29th. Grand opening festivities ran through the weekend and featured ribbon-cutting ceremonies, pop-up sampling events, contests, and giveaways. The Knoxville opening is expected to create approximately 85 new full- and part-time positions, reflecting the retailer’s commitment to local employment.

These openings are part of Sprouts’ broader plan to launch around 35 new stores in 2025 across multiple states, including North Carolina and Tennessee. Both the Charlotte and Knoxville stores feature Sprouts’ signature produce-forward layout and curated selection of natural, organic, and lifestyle-conscious products. The grand opening events reinforce the chain’s emphasis on community engagement, interactive shopping experiences, and access to fresh, health-focused groceries.
