A new Sprouts Farmers Market location is currently in the planning stages for Kyle, Texas. The proposed 23,000-square-foot store would be located on the northwest corner of FM 1626 and Kohlers Crossing in Kyle’s Brick and Mortar District. According to the city’s mayor, Travis Mitchell, Sprouts is a frequently requested grocery store in discussions with the community. “We are happy to partner with them as an anchor tenant in the new Brick and Mortar District location,” Mitchell said. The district developer, GBT Realty Corporation, intends to erect three additional retail structures encompassing a total of 40,000 square feet. The supermarket would serve as a catalyst within the growing district. GBT Realty will meet with city staff in late September to present a development agreement.
