Sprouts Farmers Market has reached a major expansion milestone with the opening of its 500th store, located in Spring, Texas. The new location at 4775 West Panther Creek Drive opened September 12th as the Phoenix-based specialty grocer continues its rapid expansion across the U.S.

We’re excited to continue bringing Sprouts’ fresh, better-for-you assortment to even more communities in the years ahead.”
Sprouts’ growth is not slowing after the milestone. The company also opened a new location in Sewell, New Jersey, on September 12th, with additional stores scheduled to open September 18th in Carson, California, and Mesa, Arizona. The retailer is still on track to open more than 40 stores this year. It now operates more than 500 stores across 25 states and employs approximately 36,000 associates.
Sprouts is also expanding its corporate infrastructure to support the growth. The company recently opened a new 180,000-square-foot headquarters on a seven-acre campus in Phoenix that includes a flagship Sprouts store, retail and restaurant space, as well as employee amenities.
With its store count now surpassing 500, Sprouts continues to build its position as one of the country’s largest specialty, natural, and organic grocers.
