Fast-growing specialty retailer Sprouts Farmers Market is kicking off fiscal 2026 with several new store openings as part of its ongoing growth strategy.
The retailer began the year by entering a new state. On January 30th, Sprouts opened its first store in New York, located in Centereach on Long Island. The company also recently launched new locations in Haymarket, Virignia; and New Braunfels, Texas. Last month, the healthy grocer debuted a store in Daytona Beach, Florida.
In March, the retailer opened additional locations in Texas and Florida, including a store in Bastrop, Texas, at 655 Highway 71, and another in Clermont, Florida, at 3420 S. U.S. Highway 27. Both locations hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony, giveaways, and samples. In partnership with Falcon Farms Floral, the first 400 guests received a complimentary long-stem rose.
Sprouts’ expanding store pipeline now includes more than 140 approved locations, with more than 40 new stores planned for 2026 — nearly all within its existing footprint. The retailer has also approved sites in the Midwest and Northeast for 2027 and beyond, laying the groundwork for future expansion.
New customers can expect a range of affordable, health-focused offerings. Sprouts’ meal solutions feature $5 Sushi Wednesdays, $5 deli sandwiches made with preservative-free meats, and Sprouts Wellness Bowls starting at $8.99. Stores also carry more than 7,000 vitamins, supplements and wellness products, along with a bulk foods department free from artificial colors and artificial flavors.
