Sprouts Farmers Market opened a new store in Dallas’ Kessler Park neighborhood on Friday, June 20th, with a grand opening celebration that continued throughout the weekend. Located at 1322 N. Hampton Road, the store welcomed its first shoppers at 7:00 A.M., following a ribbon-cutting ceremony held at 6:45 A.M.
To mark the occasion, Sprouts hosted a weekend of family-friendly events. Guests enjoyed a pop-up party outside the store featuring seasonal produce tastings, a “guess the weight” contest with oversized produce, music, giveaways, and a Vendor Village inside the store showcasing emerging brands. The first 200 shoppers on both Friday and Saturday received reusable goodie bags filled with product samples. In addition, the first 400 customers on Friday received a complimentary long-stem rose, courtesy of Falcon Farms Floral.
Shoppers had access to a 20% discount on purchases during the grand opening weekend by texting KESS to 777-688 and scanning their Sprouts app account barcode at checkout. The promotion was limited to one redemption per account per day, with a $20 maximum discount. A $500 gift card giveaway also ran through midnight on Sunday, with digital coupons and weekly ad specials available on the app.
The Kessler Park location became Sprouts’ 55th store in Texas and part of the company’s ongoing expansion in the region. Known for its focus on natural and organic products, Sprouts partnered with local produce suppliers such as Chip Berry Produce, Fredericksburg Peach Company, and Dixondale Farms to stock fresh, regional goods. The store also joined Sprouts’ Food Rescue program, donating unsellable but still edible groceries to the North Texas Food Bank.
