Staff of Life Natural Foods located in Santa Cruz and Watsonville, California recently partnered with Smart Chicken to donate over four tons of chicken to Watsonville Second Harvest Food Bank.
Smart Chicken is high quality, air chilled and humanely raised without hormones or antibiotics. This donation, which is over 8,200 pounds will provide 6,520 meals for the community couldn’t have come at a better time with the recent flooding in Pajaro Valley from the breached levee on the Pajaro River caused by the atmospheric river winter storms.
Second Harvest Food bank and the Staff of Life are very happy to make this donation to help the community in its recovery efforts.
