Thrive Brings On First COO — an Amazon Alum Joins the Ranks

As Thrive continues to grow, so does its team of Amazon alumni. Chief Merchandising Officer April Lane and CFO Hetu Patel—both former Amazon execs—are welcoming another Amazon veteran, Scott Lescher, as Thrive’s first Chief Operating Officer.

Scott brings with him nearly 16 years of experience at Amazon, primarily focused on logistics, along with time at Uniqlo USA where he supported North American retail operations. His addition marks an exciting chapter for Thrive Market, which now boasts 1.6 million members.

A Thrive spokesperson shared, “At Thrive Market, Scott will lead our next phase of operational scale, driving capacity expansion and operational improvements to fuel our next chapter of profitable growth as we continue to expand both our member base and operational capabilities.”

Founded in 2014, Thrive has reached $700 million in sales as of 2025—pushing the company into profitability. A major part of that success comes from bringing much of its logistics in-house and hiring its own drivers, significantly improving delivery times. Scott sees even more opportunity to internalize logistics and drive continued growth from within.
